In this one day class you'll learn the essentials for building an esquisite hard bound japanese style stab binding with hemp-leaf stitching design and a hard wrap cover with bone closure.
The papers and cloths for this class will be japanese styles and patterns. There will be a discussion of resources, tools and variations on this structure for other book art pieces. It is helpful to have some bookbinding experience (sewing, glue and using bookboard).
