We’ll also walk through many samples of finished cloth to discuss the tips and tricks for the best results for different applications. Learning this skill will mean expanding forever your creative and practical choices for covering books, boxes, portfolios. There will be a portion of the class for students to try the methods demonstrated if they wish.
Each student will get a kit mailed to them with a starter set of materials for making their own bookcloth. Students will also be provided with a descriptive handout and minimal materials list in advance of the class to allow students to bind along with the instructor during the demonstration.
PLEASE NOTE: Any students wishing to have personal time, assistance, and feedback can book additional time with the instructor at a reduced rate. Every student works at a different pace and experience level. The instructor will attempt to give time for questions and work within the framework of the course.
