Description:
There is nothing quite like the satisfaction of journaling & sketching in a book you have made. This class is designed for the beginner and welcomes artists of all kinds to create a book for a thousand uses. Made with a hardcover and decorative papers, this rugged book is meant to be trekked & traveled with. Students will work with prepared materials, and learn to sew the book structure and create the cover, as well as skills to work from home with minimal studio needs.
Please note that students should have a working knowledge of scissors, xacto/snap blade knives, measuring in inches and using a thread and needle for this course.
