This poem first appeared as a letterpress broadside produced in a collaboration between Denver Quarterly and Rhiannon Alpers of Gazelle and Goat Press for the autumn session poetry event held in November of 2022. Poems were selected by Denver Quarterly editors. Poets participated in letterpress printings at Gazelle and Goat Press thanks the generous contributions of Denver Quarterly. The broadside was produced in an edition of 60 signed and numbered prints.

Poets gave a public reading of their winning poem and other selected work as pert of the program. 

About the Poet:

Jen Grace Stewart (formerly Fueston) is the author of Madonna, Complex (Cascade Books 2020), Latch (River Glass Books 2019) and Visitations (Finishing Line Press 2015). Her poems have been published widely. A native of Colorado, she teaches at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
