Ochre Experiments is a one-of-a-kind accordion artist's book. Housed in 
a specimen clamshell box containing found and altered elements, the work gathers and preserves associations between plant, mineral, & landscape— revealing ochre as a spectrum of traces, signals, and meanings drawn from the natural world. Layered monoprints unfold across board panels with amate paper covers.

There are 15 plant/pigment letterpress specimens detailing some of the species explored for the book in honor of the exhibition theme for Puget Sound Book Art Members Show where it is currently on display (June 2026)
