This framed/unframed broadside is a Lettra 110# paper which is 13 x 19" and digital printed hi-res macro photography of specimens from my collection. The photos are generated from an Epson 4800 series, which were later used in my edition with the same title. The narrative content and borders are letterpress printed in 1 color.

Figure 3A, 3B, 3C: Before you is a collection of findings and fragments, collected from the region of Devil’s Gulch in Samuel P. Taylor State Park, of Northern California. Identified through visual resources
as the following species 3a. Usnea flammea, (old man’s beard) 3b. Parmotrema perforatum (scatter-rag lichens) and 3c. Homalothecium fulgescens (silky wall moss). These specimens are part of a larger series entitled Remnants, to highlighting lives of early female naturalists such as Clara E. Cummings, who have made great strides in our scientific knowledge during their lifetime.
Prints can be optionally framed in a distressed wood frame with a lokta handmade paper background and tan bookcloth backing. Please inquire if you would like this service added for $100.
